This year we will glamp 2.5 hours north of SF at a private property reserved for our event in the Lake County area of NorCal.On Thursday 9/12/24 I will host a welcome gathering at my apartment in the mission from 6p - 10p for those who have arrived or live in the Bay Area. As the gathering comes to a close, we will democratically as a community determine if and where the party will continue. 😈On Friday, carpools will begin the drive north to the event location around noon. Stop with your carpool and grab lunch on the way. Dinner will not be provided on Friday, but there are two kitchens and other areas to prepare food (please clean up after yourselves).

Nestled on 40 enchanting acres in Lower Lake, CA, Bliss Mountain, also known as Jerusalem Ranch, beckons those in search of a remarkable vacation, a transformative retreat, or an artistic adventure.All guests will have access to Kitchens, Bathrooms, Showers, Pools, the Hot Tub, private hiking on wooded/sunny trails, and the Temple.Camping per person: $50 x 2 Nights = $100
Description: Bring your tent, sleeping bags, pillows and any camping comforts needed for your overnight stay.Day Guests (Saturday only): $40 per person
Description: Bring a towel, libations, light snacks, a change of cloths, and a fur or something warm.Glamping accommodations (MUST be booked for both nights):

Venue Rules:
- No smoking or vaping of any kind inside House, or Studio Apt, or Temple
- No glass containers near the pool or hot tub
- No amplified music after midnight
- No "open" sex around the property
- Do NOT flush anything other than toilet paper
- All guests staying past midnight must be registered as an overnight guest.
- LEAVE NO TRACEBe Aware:
We will be in nature. Even in houses, you might spot friendly critters or frogs. The area can get dusty especially in the Teepee. Feel free to bring your own linens or pillows.

Travel

San Francisco (SFO) and Oakland (OAK) airports are about a 2.5 hour drive from the property. Airport pickups and carpools to Bliss Mountain will be coordinated for those who need it via Signal. Please join the group and lookout for a Google form.Bonus option 1: Stay a night in SF on your way in! We will be gathering in SF Thursday evening at my apartment with a lightly curated group agenda for the rest of Thursday evening. You can also stay in SF the Sunday evening after the event.

Activities

Main Saturday Daytime Event: TBD
We will leave early in the morning and be back to home base by early afternoon for rest and relaxation. Use the showers, enjoy the venue's facilities, or take a long nap.That evening, we will have a "family dinner" (included in cost), followed by a group discussion and symposium. We'll conclude the night with various celebration, meditations, and vibrations in various areas, with music and dancing until midnight.While amplified music must stop at midnight, everyone will be invited to transition with me into an open-ended evening involving ritual, reflection, and academic discussion. Come prepared to open your heart and your mind to the extraordinary individuals who'll bring a diverse array of knowledge, experience, and perspectives.

Who's Invited?

The guest list is a highly curated group of special souls. Anyone who's planned a wedding or similar event knows how difficult it is to project how many invited guest will be able to attend. That said, each of the 100+ men invited for the weekend has had a meaningful impact on my life through shared experiences or in a lesson they've taught me. I went to two different high schools (one in Dallas one in LA), was in a college Fraternity, worked as a professional actor, had a 15 year career in digital marketing, and have been an active member in the queer communities of Seattle and San Francisco.I can vouch for the fact that anyone you encounter during this weekend will contribute to creating a safe environment to escape our daily lives-- freeing you to be your most authentic self. Integrity.

2023 Event Photos

Last year we held a special weekend event in beautiful southern Utah to commemorate the completion of the 40th orbit around the sun for J (aka io). We "glamped" near the town of Virgin, inside the corridor to Zion National Park. The entire private property was reserved for our group, and included toilets, showers, a barn (microwaves, coffee makers, hot water pot), a jacuzzi, and a heated pool.
